Food Technologist
Responsibilities:
- Position Summary
- Support R&D Manager involved in conducting experiments and producing products, as well as designing the processes for making products of ingredients. The work may also involve building relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Role and Responsibility
- Develop and execute ingredients product projects,
- Participate in small to large ingredients process technology projects and programs which include: scale up, new product development, quality improvements,
- Write and issue plant test/ startup reports and confirm production formulas.
- Conduct a variety of scientific tests on new product ideas, ingredients, formulas, and processing for ingredient specification and product formulation development,
- Develop and conduct experiments using the Design of Experiments to evaluate and test new product ideas, ingredients, and processing.
- Develops new and improved methods and systems for ingredients processing, production,
- Studies methods to improve quality of ingredients, such as flavor, color, texture, nutritional value, convenience, or physical, chemical, and etc.
Requirements:
- Recognized Bachelor’s degree in Food Science/ Food Technology
- Have at least 3 years working experience. Experience in developing savory flavor and seasoning for savory applications like snacks, instant noodle, condiment, soup stock, etc for Indonesian market
- Candidate who has experience working with multi national flavor and Ingredients Company would be an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal team-working and communication skills with leadership qualities.
- Willing to be relocated in Cikarang and travel to overseas for business purposes.
